It's almost time to Rock and Enroll in City Schools pre-K! Enrollment for pre-K will begin on April 2, and this year we have a new, quick, and easy online system for pre-K enrollment! Five students from Poly, Mount Royal, and Tunbridge (Sawyer R., Harrison H., Zion P., Phineas R., and Phoebe H.) initiated the Punny Student Project. With grant funding, they aim to bring joy to Baltimore City students by providing "punny" gifts like highlighters with messages such as "You've Got the Write Stuff" and stress relief tips. Mayor Brandon M. Scott is calling all student artists! Submit artwork inspired by Black History Month to enter the Black History Month Art Contest. The deadline to submit your artwork to City Hall is February 16.

Calling all high school students! Now is the chance for you to speak up about the issues that matter! Submit an essay for the WJZ Black History Oratory Competition. Essays are due by January 25. For more information, visit WJZ. The top three finalists will receive scholarship prize money, and the winners will be announced on TV during WJZ's Black History Oratory Competition Special.
