City Schools families, it's time to complete the Annual Student Verification process in Campus Portal. All student information must be updated or verified, even if there are no changes. If you don't have a Campus Portal account, learn more at: https://www.baltimorecityschools.org/page/campus-portal

This mandatory process ensures accurate student information, including name, address, and guardian contacts, enabling City Schools to reach you in emergencies, provide updates, and share important documents like the Family Guide, Code of Conduct, and report cards.

Making progress on MCAP

Baltimore City Public Schools students continued a three-year run of improvement in their English Language Arts and math scores on the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP). The proof is in the numbers, which include:

·        Our growth in literacy more than tripled the results statewide.
·        Our growth in math more than doubled the results statewide.
·        Since the 2015-16 school year, our growth in literacy has nearly doubled that of Maryland overall.

The results indicate a rapid growth trajectory and reflect the hard work and unified focus of our students, staff, and families. We will keep pushing for more.
