Report cards available this week for schools on a quarterly schedule

  • See your report card in Campus Portal.
  • Use pre-K through 5th grade Learning Guides at home.
  • Learn about middle school GPAs.

  • Watch the virtual Special Public Board Meeting from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, to hear recommendations about Annual Review for traditional schools, and Operator Renewal for charter schools and operator-led schools.
  • Come to the in-person Safety and Wholeness Committee Meeting from 4 - 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, at Dorothy I. Height Elementary School. Hear updates on the CEO search from the Board and discuss ongoing efforts to ensure safety and wholeness in our schools.
  • Read the preliminary CEO Search Community Engagement Report results.

We are forming a Multilingual Access Steering Committee of families, students, and staff to make sure every family can easily connect with their school and district, no matter what language they speak.

Building bright futures: Genesis connects passion and purpose as an emerging business leader

In this week's Portrait of a Graduate story, we hear from Genesis, a 2025 graduate of Reginald F. Lewis High School. Genesis talks about the Future Business Leaders of America club (FBLA) at Reginald Lewis.

Through FBLA, Genesis competed regionally and at the national conference. Read more about how Genesis demonstrated the Portrait of a Graduate competency for Responsible and Global Citizens who seek new experiences and different perspectives.

Students are invited to submit drawings, paintings, mixed media, and digital artwork for Mayor Brandon M. Scott's Black History Month Art Contest.

Coat giveaway for children aged 12 and younger
