Spring Break meal options

City Schools will not distribute meals during Spring Break, but students can get meals through the Recreation and Parks Spring Break Camps. REGISTER TODAY for Spring Break camp! Families can also visit www.charmcare.org for resources like meals, emergency services, mental health resources, and more. Stay nourished and enjoy the break!

Attention parents of middle and high schoolers: Empower your children to make a difference and join the Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City (ASCBC), Baltimore's elected student government. The Student Commissioner, a pivotal role representing students on the School Board, influences City Schools policy and budget decisions.

Yorkwood celebrated all things Math at Yorkwood's Family Math Night. Students, families, and staff, came together to engage in activities, play math games, and learn about math strategies.

Looking for something safe and FUN for your students to do during spring break? Join the Mayor's Spring Break Camps at over 30 recreation centers throughout Baltimore. The camps are FREE, run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will include food, entertainment, age-appropriate activities and more. REGISTER TODAY!

Dream Big Contest

What will it take for us all to be free?

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Lyric is asking students this question as part of their Dream Big contest. Students in grades 5-12 can participate with an essay, poem, video, or artwork. Finalists get to showcase their work on the Lyric's historic stage and win great prizes! The deadline for contest submissions is March 22.

The Baltimore Ravens are hosting their ninth annual Leading and Inspiring Females to Thrive (L.I.F.T.) conference on Tuesday, April 9. The L.I.F.T. conference will empower the next generation of female athletes to harness and develop their leadership skills, on and off the field.

Know an amazing teacher? The Baltimore Ravens Touchdown for Teachers program, with M&T Bank, honors local teachers for their outstanding work! One lucky teacher gets a $5,000 grant for their school, a visit from a Ravens player, Poe the mascot, and cheerleaders, as well as a Ravens jersey.
