Shining a spotlight on our partnership with Heart of America and the Baltimore Ravens who worked to give a much-needed facelift to classrooms, wellness spaces for staff and the playground as well as rededicated a student center to beloved community member Theresa Marshburn at Samuel Coleridge-Taylor Elementary School last week! Featuring members from all levels of the Ravens organization, this video is a great celebration of the kinds of meaningful partnerships City Schools has developed across the city. And like Principal Adams says in the video, "students deserve to show up in spaces where it looks like someone loves them. And with that love, they’re going to be great scholars.”

The Office of Communications visited Fort Worthington Elementary/Middle School to see how their individualized approach to teacher coaching provides teachers with relevant and applicable strategies to use in the classroom. One byproduct of this approach has been an increase in their Maryland Star Rating, which provides a comprehensive view of a school's performance under the Maryland Accountability System.
