City Schools families must complete the Annual Student Verification process in Campus Portal. All student information must be updated or verified - even if no changes exist. If you don't have a Campus Portal account, learn more at: https://www.baltimorecityschools.org/page/campus-portal
The Annual Student Verification process ensures City Schools has the following information for each student
Name
Address
Guardian contact information, and more.

For the third year in a row, students from across the district joined the Spanish Immersion Theater Camp at Holabird Academy in July. The camp, led by new Assistant Principal Erwin Otero Santos, offers Spanish-speaking students a chance to practice their language skills, play games, and create art. This year’s play, “Let’s Save Our Planet,” focused on climate change, recycling, and teamwork.
Summer Arts for Learning (SALA) has joined forces with City Schools to revolutionize student learning in a new pilot program. The Extended School Year (ESY) initiative, a creation of the Office of Special Education, was developed some time ago to boost academic engagement with students during their time away from school, thereby increasing the likelihood of students reaching their learning milestones.
The Abell neighborhood "bookstore," where all the books are free, is holding one of its monthly openings on Sunday, Aug. 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Teachers are particularly invited to collect books for their classrooms in preparation for going back to school in the fall. Please check event details on their website before attending: www.bookthing.org.
