At City Schools, we are excited to welcome students into our classrooms for the 2023-24 school year. For most students, the first day of school will be Monday, August 28! To get all of our students and families prepared for the school year, we have a webpage dedicated to everything families need for this school year. All forms, documents, and a back to school checklist can be found on the Back to School webpage!
City Schools has a new mobile app coming later this month!
The mobile app will give you access to upcoming dates, news about your school, and important notifications. It will also connect you to Campus Portal, where you can access your student’s grades, attendance, school calendar, school news, and more - all at the touch of your fingers.

City Schools is taking community support to a whole new level with the launch of our new Facebook group exclusively for our verified partners to share resources with families - a hub for things like food giveaways, legal assistance, job resources, and more! To celebrate the launch, we created a master thread of back-to-school giveaways. Join the group to check it out!
City Schools partners with Smile Maryland to offer in-school dental care for students. Go to www.myschooldentist.com to sign up your child today. Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary, and in most cases, restorative care such as fillings. Dental care is usually at no cost to you. All insurance is accepted including Medicaid and Maryland Healthy Smiles. A low-cost self-pay option is available for those without insurance.
Medicaid recipients: Please note that Maryland Medicaid renewal is not automatic this year. Please make sure that your contact information is up to date so you can receive notices for your health insurance.
